Bourgault Leading 6550 Air Seeder

Size and Versitility
The superior design of the Bourgault Air Seeder systems provides both unmatched tank volume and versatility. The latest member of the Leading 6000 Series is the Leading 6550ST. All the same features and options that are available on the tow behind system is available for Producers who require the product tank between the tractor and seeding implement.
- TANK & FRAME - The L6550ST has four internal tanks for a total of 550 bushels. Tank 2 can be diverted into Tank 1 or 3, and Tank 3 can be diverted into Tank 4 or 2 through the use of patented inter-connect ports.
- TIRES - The rear tires available are 650/75R34 Duals at 18 PSI when loaded with fertilizer.
- HITCH - The design hitch weight is approximately 8,850 lbs. when fully loaded with fertilizer. Most tractors will require a drawbar support kit if unit is fully loaded.
- AUGER - The 10" Deluxe Auger with folding low profile transfer hopper will reach under grain trailers as well as the air seeder hopper. It has hydraulic controls for the transfer hopper fold, auger swing, and auger raise/tilt.
- DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM - Single Shoot, Double Shoot, and Multi-Shoot are available with this air seeder. The Straight-Thru distribution system allows the metering augers to supply each of the distribution pipes with a short flexible hose. This allows the operator to easily change product delivery from a specific metering auger to the distribution pipe of choice.
- METERING SYSTEM - The metering transmissions are ground-driven through a series of interconnecting drive shafts to angle gearbox drives, which power the variable rate transmissions. The UHMW metering augers are protected from high torque damage by a torque-limiting device located on the auger shafts. Each of the metering augers are outfitted with triple sprockets, allowing a change between high, intermediate, and low range without the need for tools.
- MONITORS - Monitor options include:
- Model 591 Deluxe Monitor - available for three or four tank configurations with Manual Rate Control, Cab Rate Control, or Zone Rate Control. Fan control (1 or 2 fan) is available with ZRC only.
- Topcon X20 ® Monitor/Controller System - features a full color touch screen and variable rate control program customized for the Bourgault Superior Seeding System. This option is available in three or four tank configurations and comes standard with auxiliary clutches. With optional components, NH3 or liquid fertilizer applications can also be controlled in combination with seeder functions to a maximum of four different products.
