| Seed Into Hard Soil |
| The 3310 PHD™ can penetrate extremely hard soils. With
an in-cab adjustable trip force of 0 - 600 lb(0 - 275 kg),
and the ability to apply 70 to 200 lb (30 to 90 kg) of packing force, the 3310
will allow producers to seed in the most challenging conditions. |
 |
|
The inner wing lift cylinders transfer weight from main frame
to inner wing during field operation to ensure uniform
penetration. Weight is added to outer wing rear wheel arms to ensure uniform
penetration. This inner wing pressure can be adjusted to match the seeding conditions. |
| Superior Residue Flow |
 |
The Paralink™ seeding arm places only the seed opener in the seed row. The nitrogen fertilizer is placed
between every second seed row with the MRB®.This arrangement
provides excellent residue flow, even when field residue is challenging, without
compromising the seedbed. |
The superior residue flow allows farmers to choose the spacing that works best for thier operation, not limit their spacing to what the seeding system can work in. Over 80% of Bourgault PHD™ drills are sold in 10" (254 mm) spacing. |
|
| Effective Seeding in Challenging Conditions |
|
Features such as a seed-only opener on each shank, optimal seed opener to packer distance, edge-on shank design, and residue cutting optional MRB coulters allow the 3310 to deliver excellent trash flow in challenging conditions without compromising the seedbed. Again and again, customers have commented on the excellent trash clearance on both the 10" & 12" ( 254 mm and 305 mm)
spaced units. |
| Superior
Field Finish |
| By utilizing a narrow edge-on tyne, the seed-only openers displace a minimal amount of soil. The optional coulter MRBs also minimize disturbance when placing the nitrogen between every other row. The result is an even field finish which will produce less wear and tear on spraying and harvesting equipment, as well as farmers’ backs! |
|
The
edge-on opener and 4.8" (122 mm) wide pneumatic packer ensures adequate
soil cover and packing without leaving a deep trench, regardless
of tip selection. |
