2023 Bourgault Agronomy Trials Plot Tour July 5 | St. Brieux, SK

Come join the Bourgault Agronomy Team for a plot tour! Bourgault has been conducting large scale, replicated trials since 2016 but here’s your chance to check out the trials in person on this guided tour.

Trials that are in place for this year include:

• Nitrogen Source/Placement/Rate trials – Urea, SuperU, and ESN were used at two different rates with broadcast, side-band, and mid row band placement;
• Seeding Rate trials – canola was seeded at 1.2lbs, 2.4lbs and 4.8lbs;
• Phosphorus Source trials – MAP, S15, TopPhos, and Synchro were compared at high and low rates in the seed row;
• Opener Size trials – ¾” tip versus 2” tip;
• TriMax trials – Comparing placement of phosphorus and nitrogen with split applications in the side band and mid row band.

Lunch will be provided with time to chat with the agronomy team on seed and fertilizer placement, along with anything about seeding equipment!

Tour begins near St. Brieux SK at 10:00am with lunch at 12:30pm and an optional factory tour after lunch. Deadline to register is July 3rd.

Note that this is a plot tour only with no equipment demonstrations. Our Seeding Is Believing field demos will be held at Ag In Motion from July 18-20.
