Adding Capacity With The Wing Tank
The Cutting Edge 2025
We are excited to unveil the innovative Wing Tank™ Option on the Model Year 2026 9000 I Series Air Carts. This new feature, available on the L9950 and 91300 air carts, makes the 91300 with the Wing Tank the largest towbehind air seeder on the market, boasting a capacity of 1366 bushels.
Introduced at the Bourgault Seeds for Success event in Phoenix, AZ, on November 6, 2024, the Wing Tank offers 66 bushels of usable fill volume, enhancing customer productivity and agronomic flexibility with a single-point fill conveyor. This innovation embodies Capacity without Complexity.
Building on the success of the Bourgault Saddle Tank ™, which addressed the need for a fifth tank, the Wing Tank meets the demand for extra capacity and a fifth metered product. As we enter 2025 and beyond, customers seek more capacity, productivity, and flexibility while reducing weight and compaction. Remarkably, the Wing Tank is more cost-effective than a saddle tank, pallet storage, and bulk boom.
A co-operator producer using the 66-bushel Wing Tank successfully seeded up to 900 acres of canola before refilling. The tank can hold three mini bulk bags, including "D" size canola seed. With the accuracy of load cells and the Bourgault DynaCal ™ system, the producer confidently seeded 10,000 acres, knowing precisely what was being applied to each acre.
The Wing Tank is designed to elevate performance and maximize productivity, allowing for more acres seeded per day with less time spent filling. Standard features include load cells for increased accuracy and an in-tank camera to monitor product flow, providing peace of mind for the operator. The Wing Tank can be used as a regular tank to extend the fill of products in the four main tanks or for maximum agronomic flexibility to apply seed, inoculants, micronutrients, or fertilizer. All products can be filled directly from the same conveyor as the other tanks. With flush lid mounting and a full catwalk with handrails, this option reduces fill times.

An additional benefit of the Wing Tank over the Saddle Tank configuration is that, when fully loaded, the Wing Tank weighs less than the current 44-bushel Saddle Tank, pallet storage, and bulk boom. Producers choosing the Wing Tank option will not sacrifice soil compaction by carrying more products.
The Bourgault Wing Tank offers Capacity without Complexity, increased productivity, agronomic flexibility, less compaction, and lower costs than a saddle tank, pallet storage, and bulk boom. It will be available for order on Bourgault’s upcoming Model Year 2026 release on 91300 and L9950 I Series Air Carts.
