Bourgault Builder
The Cutting Edge 2026 - Build It Your Way
Many Bourgault customers and dealer members now know that Bourgault Industries offers a customer-facing online pricing tool called Bourgault Builder. This tool allows users to build and price Bourgault hoe or coulter drills, air seeders, frame-mounted seeders, and even equipment like chisel plows, harrows, and the air-planter option.

But did you know that by building your Bourgault system on Bourgault Builder, you make it easier for your dealer to help you get exactly what you want and avoid costly mistakes during the quoting process?
Bourgault Builder not only makes it simple to build and price your equipment, it ensures that when you send your quote to your dealer, you’ll get the exact options you selected. No more waiting for your salesperson to create a new quote every time you want to see a different configuration. With just a few clicks, you can compare major options like opener types or wing vs. saddle tanks, and smaller features like Packmaster or power lids. Then, you can send your build directly to your local dealership for quoting.
CUSTOMER SUCCESS STORY: PAGE RANCHES
To see how useful Bourgault Builder can be, we looked at a real-world example where the tool helped not just a customer, but two dealerships as well.
Taya and Jeff Page of Page Ranches, near Strathmore, Alberta, are long-time Bourgault customers and loyal clients of both Ar-Man Equipment in Vulcan, AB, and Rocky Mountain Equipment in Rockyview, AB. When they decided to order two model-year 2026 Bourgault systems—one through each dealership—they faced a challenge: ensuring both quotes matched exactly.
They had heard about Bourgault Builder at a spring customer clinic and decided to give it a try.
“I originally did the first quote on my phone,” Taya says. “It’s really convenient that the Builder is mobile-friendly.”
Page Ranches had always run a double-shoot system with mid-row banders, but after seeing the agronomic results of Bourgault’s TriMax system, they opted for triple-shoot.
“We weren’t sure at first,” Jeff explains. “Being able to look at all the different options in the Builder was very convenient. We ended up building three or four completely different drills—we even built a coulter drill just for the heck of it! But in the end, we decided on the TriMax system for both drills.”
Once they finalized their builds, Taya and Jeff submitted identical quotes directly to both dealerships. This streamlined the process and reduced the chance of errors. Sales teams at both dealerships commented on how efficient it was not having to build multiple quotes for the customer.
“The sales groups at both dealerships are excellent,” Jeff says, “but there was a bit of concern with us ordering through two dealerships that there would be a mistake. There’s a lot of options to go through! It made it easy for us to submit directly to both our salesmen.”

FROM QUOTE TO DELIVERY
After the order is submitted to Bourgault Industries, the order desk reviews it for accuracy and adds it to the production schedule. Depending on the system type, units may be scheduled for production within weeks or months. Eventually, the units go through fi nal retail production, where all selected features and options are installed.
Once production is complete, units are prepared for pickup by the dealership, which can be done by towing or hauling on a truck and trailer—in Page Ranches’ case, hauled by truck and trailer.
“We are extremely excited for our TriMax units this year!” Taya says. “And we will definitely use Bourgault Builder again when it’s time for our next new system.”
