Convenient & Safe Air Cart Operation

Staircase & Catwalk

Staircase access from either side of the tank includes secure hand rails and wide grated cast steps.

Staircase access, from either side of the tank, includes secure handrails and comfortable 24" wide grated cast steps to minimize the chance of slipping, even in muddy conditions.

The 9000 Series are equipped with handrails and kick plates around the perimeter of the tank top platform.

Security Up Top

  • 9000 I Series Air Carts are equipped with handrails and kick plates around the perimeter of the tank top platform.
  • The handrails can be folded down quickly to reduce the height of the air cart for storage purposes.
  • The stairs are also made to break-away in case of ground contact.

Tank Lid Locks

Lid locks prevent accidental opening when tank is pressurized.

Tank lids are equipped with a catch to prevent the lid from striking the Operator if the lid is accidently opened while the fans are in operation.

Powerlids option

Bourgault Powerlids

Open and close the tank lid from the ground with the convenience of the same remote control for the conveyor. This option is available on all 9000 I Series Air Carts, reducing Operator trips up and down the tank. 

 
 

Exterior Lighting

Bright LED lights are located in strategical locations on the air cart.

Seven exterior LED lights allow for greater visibility providing increased Operator safety when seeding at night.
 
 

Rear-View Camera

A camera is located on the rear of the tank to monitor traffic behind the air cart.

  • The camera image is displayed directly on the X35 Apollo monitor or on the Xtend™ screen.

Be "Close Enough" When Connecting Your Air Cart

The EZ™ Hitch option will greatly improve ease of implement hook up. You can pin your air cart to the seed drill quickly and without frustration.

The EZ Hitch option will greatly improve ease of implement hook up.

The procedure to use the EZ™ Hitch is simple:
  • Swivel the hitch clevis by removing the lynch pin and pull pin from the front hole in the clevis.
  • Slide the hitch clevis to the position required. Connect the hitch tongue to the tillage implement hitch with the hitch pin.
  • Pull the air cart ahead a short distance to straighten out the clevis, then back up the tractor until the guide lock snaps into place.
  • Replace the pull pin and lynch pin in the front bushing of the clevis.
