Superior Distribution System - 3000 Series Air Seeders feature a Class A distribution system.
Optional 3rd Tank - All 3000 Series Air Seeders feature a stable four wheel design and two separate 60%/40% split compartments.
The patented Bechard metering auger system is positioned on the bottom of each tank to meter out the contents and place it into the air stream for distribution.
Electronic Monitors - Earlier models were offered with the 149 monitor to track air seeder functionality. The 198 tank mounted calibration unit assisted with air seeder calibration. Later models were available with the 277 or 491 air seeder monitors.
The metering system is driven by the rear cart wheel through a system of roller chains and quick change sprockets for setting the metering rate.
High Efficiency 18" Fan - configure to uniformly distribute products from three tanks at once. The fan is computer dynamically balanced to ensure years of trouble-free operation. Fans were powered by hydraulic or a mounted gas engine.
Convenient Hopper on the Loading/ Unloading Auger - The hopper can easily be positioned under the tank to allow emptying of any remaining grain or fertilizer. The flip-up screen provides easy access to the auger flighting. A cupped flighting minimizes the amount of material left in the hopper. All three tanks can be effortlessly loaded or unloaded when the air seeder is equipped with the optional 7" auger.

Single to Dual Shooting

Heavy Duty Magnetic Clutch - A heavy duty Warner magnetic clutch (rated at a static torque of 70 ft.-lbs.) turns metering on and off. An auxiliary clutch is available for independent control of the rear meter and a separate clutch is provided with the third tank.
18" Radial Fan:
- Hydraulic drive is delivered with a high precision, Eaton piston motor. This motor has a rated life of 15,000 hours at 2,500 psi and 3,000 r.p.m.
- Mechanical drive is provided with a 20 HP Kohler Magnum gas engine.
Optional Granular Herbicide Tank - All 3000 Series Air Seeders are designed with third tank capability for additional chemical, seed and fertilizer products in one pass, saving both fuel and moisture.
- 3225 - Model 2535 (29 bu, offered with a "Select-A-Rate" kit which allows the operator to set-up any two desired herbicide rates and change from one to the other with the flick of a switch).
- 3195 - Model 9545 (34 bu third tank)
- 3165 - Model 6535 (28 bu third tank.)
Load a Mini-Bulk Bag with Room to Spare - An entire mini-bulk bag normally requires 26 ft³ of tank capacity which can be accommodated on any of the three models of 3rd tanks.
Single to Dual Shooting - Another reason for the timeless value of the Bourgault 3000 Series Air Seeder is the fact that you can change from single shooting to dual shooting in less than 10 minutes, using only a screwdriver.
