Model 71300

The Bourgault Model 71300 air seeder sets itself apart with its massive 1300 bushel capacity, expanded to 1340 bushels when equipped with the optional Saddle Tank.

The Bourgault KNEX integral tank design allows all four main tanks to meter individually, or, several tanks can be combined to meter as one.
The optional 40 Bu Saddle Tank & Pallet Storage Platform mounted on the left side is designed for the seeding and storage of low rate product.
The Bulk Boom option makes loading bulk bags of seed, fertilizer or inoculant both more convenient and efficient.
The Dual ASC option incorporates separate hydraulic manifolds for each product run, allowing you to control seed and fertilizer distribution independently.
The 71300 is equipped with IF710/70 R42 duals on the front axle and IF850/75 R42 duals on the rear.
The 71300 is available with a 12" dia. tube with 20" wide belt conveyor.
The EvenStream Primary™ Distribution System became standard on 2019 models, and retrofitable on past 71300 Air Seeders.

The 71300 provides unprecedented flexibility with 4 main tanks, and the ability to subdivide the largest tank, and an optional Saddle Tank.

KNEX Integral Tank System

The 4 main tanks provide the ability to connect to the adjacent compartment to provide more application options.
The FLEX bin (part of tank 1) takes this one step farther - it does not have its own meter, but can flow into tank 1 (1 + FLEX bin), or can be diverted to tank 2 (2 + FLEX bin) in a matter of minutes.
The optional Saddle Tank (Tank 5) mounted on the left side is designed for seeding bagged product, such as canola or granular inoculant.

The optional 40 Bu Saddle Tank & Pallet Storage Platform is designed for the seeding and storage of bagged product.
Dedicated load cells provide actual measured weight during operation. The ability to monitor actual weight during operation will deliver even more accurate metering for expensive low rate products such as canola seed.

Bulk Boom Option

Lift up to 2400 lb from the ground or a truck box, up to the Saddle Tank, or the tank top (compartment 3).
With the BulkBoom’s dedicated remote control, the operator can maneuver the BulkBoom from any location around the air seeder.

Dual Auto Section Control

The Dual ASC option incorporates separate hydraulic manifolds for each product run, allowing you to control seed and fertilizer distribution independently. The Apollo controller system is used to manage product distribution across the drill when it overlaps a seeded section of the field.
When the drill travels into a seeded area, the Apollo seeder controller will shut product flow off to the secondary manifold(s) in the seeded area. At the same time, the metering auger speed is adjusted to maintain the desired rate across the remaining open secondary manifolds.
Dual ASC is capable of controlling 6, 8, or 10 drill sections, depending on drill size on spacing.

Good Floatation

The 71300 is equipped with IF710/70 R42 duals on the front axle and IF850/75 R42 duals on the rear, each set to a low 15 psi (103 kPa) inflation pressure, even when operating fully loaded.

Wide Belt Conveyor

The 71300 is available with a 12" dia. tube with 20" wide belt conveyor. This conveyor is capable of filling the whole air seeder in less than 30 minutes!
The conveyor is controlled by a remote control. As a precautionary measure, a manual backup is located on the tank.

EvenStream Primary Distribution System

The Bourgault EvenStream Primary™ Distribution System provides outstanding improvements in distribution accuracy, particularly on the double-shoot or MRB^® fertilizer air stream.
A vertical centered turning vane in the upper riser “S-pipe” keeps product centered when making the first 40 degree turn prior to the bellows.
Ribbed UHMW inserts create uniform flow of air and product down the lengthened vertical section.
Centering rings channel product to the center of the line before distributing through the primary manifold.

The Leading Air Seeder Configuration is balanced and tested to ensure both hitch weight and ground compaction are within the Producer's parameters.

Topcon X35 or ISO Apollo Controller Systems

The X35 Apollo^™ System provides unprecedented control and monitoring with a large full color console.
The ISO Apollo™ System ties to the Virtual Terminal of equipped tractors for basic monitoring and control features.
Older models may be equipped with Topcon X35 Apollo or X35 IB1 controller systems.

Fan Options

The High Speed Fan is equipped with a 12cc hydraulic motor which provides up to 6000 rpm rotor speeds to boost application rates.
The High Capacity Fan has a wider fan and 16cc hydraulic motor and is recommended for larger seeding implements.
The High Pressure Fan is equipped with a redesigned rotor and equipped with a 19cc hydraulic motor.

The PDM Pro^™ Metering Auger

A precise, finely pitched high-density poly metering auger draws product from a large, flow-through sump, through a machined metering orifice into the straight-thru distribution line.
High-density poly metering augers coupled with precisely matched orifices provide accurate metering and low maintenance. The polyethylene auger provides consistent seeding rates, even with problematic products such as treated seed and certain fertilizers.

Straight-Thru Primary Lines

Direct the contents of any tank compartment into any of the two air streams.
Quickly set up for the seeding configuration needed with little effort and no need to change metering components.
Tank cleaning is clean and simple, with an unobstructed drop into the load/unload auger hopper.

Hydraulic Drive Metering System

The hydraulic drive motors provide near instant rate changes, requiring only about 6 gpm (23L/m) when all 5 metering augers are in operation.

Standard Load Cells

Load cell spindles are situated on each wheel and tied to control panel mounted on tank frame.
Display on fill auger side of frame and integrated into hand-held remote.
The weigh scale software integrates with X35 software, allowing input of product weights directly into the monitor using the Xtend app and a new fill wizard.

Staircase Access

Staircase access, from either side of the tank, has secure hand rails and comfortable 24" (610 mm) wide grated cast steps that minimize slipping, even in muddy conditions.
The wide tank top catwalk incorporates safety rails and slip-resistant grating beside and between each of the tank fill lids.

Stand-Alone Camera System

The stand-alone camera system features a 7” (18 cm) LCD screen.
Each tank compartment is equipped with a separate camera to monitor product levels
A rear view camera allows you to watch for approaching vehicles when transporting from field to field.
