For When The Tilling Gets Tough!

Three-Point Hitch-to-Frame Attachment - The unique three point frame-to-hitch attachment is designed to distribute load more uniformly. The hitch also extra long, measuring 20' on five-plex models for better tracking in tough tillage conditions. Truss rod kits are available when mounting a granular applicator tank.
Consistent Opener Depths in Hilly Terrain - The 9400 Chisel Plow is designed with the front caster wheels positioned close to the front row and the walking axle centred in the frame.
Dependable & Reliable - The chisel plow frame features four ranks of 4" x 4" x .250" (102 mm x 102 mm x 6 mm) wall tubing. Wear points are protected with nylon, case hardened steel, or composite bushings on chrome pins. The incorporation of 6000 lb (2720 kg) wheel hubs ensure that you will have many years of trouble-free service
Handle Maximum Residue - The trip layout is designed to maximize clearance around the wheels. The distance between shanks is a minimum of 36" (.9 m), the distance between adjacent bars is 32" (.8 m) and the frame to ground clearance is 31½" (.8 m) with 1¼" (32 mm) shanks.

Bourgault Spring Trip Assembly - The 330 lb (150 kg) spring trip assembly incorporates a 1" (25 mm) pivot protected with a greaseless nylon bushing and a 1” x 2” (25 x 50 mm) shank. The 450 lb HD (204 kg) spring trip assembly incorporates a 1" (25 mm) pivot protected with a greaseless nylon bushing and a 1¼" x 2"(32 x 50 mm) to 1” x 2” (25 x 50 mm) tapered shank, which is 55% stronger than a 1" (25 mm) shank. The 500 lb (225 kg) and 600 lb (272 kg) double-spring trip assemblies are available on the 9400, 9500 and 9800 Chisel Plows. The 500 & 600 lb trips are equipped with a 1¼" x 2" (32 x 51 mm) shank and a 1" (25 mm) pivot protected with a greaseless nylon bushing.
Titan Quik-Detach Arms - Designed for quick and easy attachment or interchange of mounted harrows and packers to accomplish various operations with the same unit. Easy adjustment of up to 550 lbs (250 kg) of down force per arm.
Mounted Harrows & Mounted Packers - The heavy compression spring assures you of all the down force required and provides for an obstacle clearance of 22" (.56 m). Four bar harrows feature 7/16" x 16" (11mm x 406mm) long double tines on 2" (51mm) overall spacing. Three bar Mounted Heavy Harrows are the answer for heavy residue and rough field conditions. Tines are ½" x 20" (13mm x (508mm) long double tines on 8" (203mm) overall spacing. Bourgault Mounted Packers help provide excellent seedbed results when using a tillage system for seeding.
Dependable Hydraulics - Bourgault tillage units feature a high quality depth control system and quality hydraulic components for accurate and consistent depth control and long service life.
Single-Point Depth Control - The patented Quick Shift Depth Control makes single point depth control effective and easy.
Side Draft Eliminators - Install Side Draft Eliminators to prevent skewing when tilling on side slopes. Not required when Mid Row Banders are installed.
Spring Action Mud Scrapers - They can be ordered as fixed or spring loaded styles - both types are adjustable.
Bourgault Trailing Hitch - The optional Heavy Duty Rear Tow Hitch is designed to pull even the largest air seeder tanks and liquid carts on the market today.
