Phosphorus with Canola
The purpose of testing Phosphorus (P) placements is to provide producers with a safe method to apply removal rates of P in a one-pass seeding operation.
The Agronomy team at Bourgault Industries wanted to explore different placement options in canola, including high rates seed placed and a split application where starter P is placed with the seed and the bulk of the P fertilizer is placed in the band with the rest of the fertilizer.
