After many years and thousands of hectares of operation, the Bourgault Streamliner™ liquid-ready air carts have proved themselves to be a firm favourite with Australian Farmers. Now the latest generation of the Streamliner™ Series 2 liquid-ready air cart has taken another significant leap forward with improved features and usability.

All-In-One Air Cart Package

L9650 Streamliner™ Air Cart

Available in the same wide selection of all granular 9000 I Series air carts, liquid-ready Streamliner™ models utilise the established Bourgault tank compartment configurations to provide an all-in-one air cart package for combined liquid and granular products.

On each model, the liquid-ready tank is positioned to provide optimum stability for the entire air cart.

Cart Volumes

The ratios between the various compartments of each model have been calculated to deliver maximum product flexibility and increased convenience resulting in less stops in the field.

Convenience & Corrosion Resistance

The circular access lid into the main liquid tank is made of stainless steel, with an adjustable cross arm (9000 Series).

The Streamliner™ air cart is designed with ease of operation and longevity in a harsh environment in mind. Each cart is fitted with:

  • a spray-on durable polyurea coating to protect the tank interior;
  • a stainless steel access lid with adjustable seal;
  • a 300 litre rinse tank to flush the entire system.

The liquid tank is lined with a solid, spray-applied, rapid curing, polyurea coating.

Durable Tank Liner

On each model, the liquid-ready tank is positioned to provide optimum stability for the entire air cart.  The liquid tank is lined with a solid, spray-applied, rapid curing, polyurea coating that exhibits excellent chemical, impact and abrasion resistance, as well as elongation and tear strength.

The circular access lid into the main liquid tank is constructed of stainless steel (8000 Series).

Stainless Steel Access Lid

The circular access lid into the main liquid tank is now a hinged stainless steel design with an adjustable single cross arm to ensure ease of use as well as complete sealing in the tank top area.

The compact 300L full draining polyethylene rinse tank with a vented screw lid is moulded in a solid colour to reduce the risk of algal build up.

On-Board Rinse Tank

A compact 300 litre full draining polyethylene rinse tank with a vented screw lid is included with the Streamliner™ air carts. The tank is moulded in a solid colour to reduce the risk of algae build-up in the fresh water after prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Operators can draw clean water to rinse through the pump, distribution lines and nozzles when stationary. This feature is not only useful for checking the nozzles, maintaining pump and system cleanliness, but prevents corrosive liquid fertiliser from dripping onto the seeding implement when the unit is folded for transport.

Streamliner™ Series 2 carts have separate easy to access docking stations.

Streamliner™ Series 2 models feature an easy to access docking stations for main tank fill and rinse tank clean water fill to improve efficiency at fill time.

 
 

Separate Docking Stations

The liquid fill docking stations are made of 4mm grade 316 stainless steel for long life.
The liquid fill docking stations and tank top panels are made of 4 mm, grade 316, stainless steel for long life and corrosion resistance from spills.
Streamliner™ Series 2 models provide easy to access docking stations for main tank fill and rinse tank clean water fill to improve efficiency at fill time. 
Both feature 51 mm (2") ports.

Flange Fit Couplings

All Streamliner models benefit from quality flange fit couplings throughout the liquid plumbing circuit.

Sight Gauge

All Streamliners are fitted with as an easy to see incremental sight gauge to guide when filling.
Keep an eye on tank fills with a highly visible sight gauge. All Streamliners™ are fitted with the incremental sight gauge mounted close to the fill station.
The 9000 I Series Air Carts provide individual and continuous weight readings on the X35 Apollo display so that you can monitor fertiliser consumption as you seed.

Streamliner™ Liquid Ready Module

The Streamliner™ Series 2 Liquid Module automates the metering of liquid fertilizer to the paired drill.

The Bourgault Streamliner™ Series 2 liquid delivery system is contained and easily accessible when making adjustments or service.  Controls are well marked, easy to access, and well protected from the harsh agricultural environment.

The Streamliner™ Series 2 Liquid Module utilises an electro-magnetic flow meter installed upstream from a proportional control valve.

Streamliner™ Control

The Streamliner Series 2 Liquid Module utilises an electro-magnetic flow meter installed upstream from a proportional control valve (PCV) to automatically meter liquid flow to the paired drill.

Output speed and flow are continually measured with values transmitted to the in-cab rate controller which can regulate the PCV to adjust the liquid stream.

The electro-magnetic flow meter has no mechanical moving parts and only requires minimal maintenance.  It also has a low sensitivity to turbulence and performs independently from fluid density and viscosity.

The hydraulic pump uses a polypropylene impeller inside a housing made of 316 Stainless Steel.Stainless Steel Hydraulic Pump

The liquid-ready module features a quality, smooth running hydraulically driven centrifugal pump that requires only 15-30 lpm during operation.

The pump uses a polypropylene impeller inside a housing made of 316 stainless steel and specifically designed to prevent chemical corrosion, pump cavitation and abrasive wear.

Cart Side Control

Control the Streamliner™ System during fills, calibration and cleaning without running back to the tractor cab.  A simple, durable control box is positioned on the air cart frame for convenient access by the Operator.

  • Make manual adjustments on-the-fly with an in-cab controller;
  • Gain full variable rate control and Auto Section Control when paired to an X35 Apollo System.

X35 Apollo ControllerVRC & ASC

For more advanced operation, models equipped with X35 Apollo application rate controllers with a GPS input gain full functionality for on-the-go variable rate control of seed, fertiliser and liquid products. This can also be paired with Auto Section Control (ASC) for liquids as well as granular products.
