Indexed Seed Depth Adjust
Adjusting the depth on an independent depth system is time consuming, so Bourgault incorporates an indexed pin depth adjustment unit that is simple and repeatable across the depth of the unit Depth can be set at 4mm increments from position 1 to 15 for a total range of 63mm.
Position 4 is a suggested starting position, but must be verified by the operator if desired seeding results are being achieved.

Dedicated Seed Knife
The ½" wide dedicated seed knife is equipped with carbide tips to ensure long life even in abrasive conditions.

Dedicated Fertilizer Knife
The fertilizer knife places product into the soil ahead of the seed knife. In good seeding conditions, operators can achieve 38mm horizontal and 38mm vertical separation between each row.

Seed Knife Adjustment
The seed knife is factory set to deposit 19mm above and 38mm to the side of the fertilizer knife. The PLDS allows you to adjust the seed opener in relation to the fertilizer. Vertical: up to +/- 38mm
