The Apollo system continues to be improved upon to enhance the user experience and productivity. The latest version has a number of improvements, including refining the DynaCal™ feature to improve the messaging and the performance when opering on hills. Additionally, major enhancements have been made to the Tank Optimizer feature.

The Tank Optimizer has long been a trusted ally for operators managing complex seeding and fertilization operations. Initially designed to streamline product application setup, it allowed users to assign tanks, products, and rates with precision. However, with advances in farming technology and feedback from users, Bourgault and Topcon recognized opportunities to further simplify and refine the process.

The latest Tank Optimizer enhancements now take customization and control to a whole new level. Operators can not only configure tank assignments but also enable or disable tanks as needed during the planning phase. This additional step provides greater flexibility and reduces unnecessary product wastage.

Moreover, the system has been upgraded to include advanced configuration options for Bourgault’s Auto Section Control (ASC) booms. This allows users to assign specific sections of their seeding or fertilization booms to individual tanks. These enhancements ensure optimal product placement across fields, significantly reducing overlaps or misses while ensuring that every seed or drop of liquid counts.

3725QDA Depth Adjustment

The 3725QDA uses a hydraulic cylinder and shim assembly on each rear carrier wheel to set the seed depth. Adding or removing shims changes the angle of the frame, which results in seed depth change because of the unique geometry of the PLW opener.
